Entry into the US: Laptop ban lifted for flights from the Arab world
Thanks to security updates, laptops can now be taken on board flights to the US on Emirates, Etihad Airways & Co.
Taking laptops on board flights to the USA from the Middle East was prohibited in April of this year. For some airlines, the ban has been lifted. Currently, Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Turkish Airlines have confirmed that it is once again possible to take laptops in hand luggage due to stricter security measures. This applies for airlines that comply with the new security regulations of the US Department of Homeland Security.
