airberlin & NIKI introduce new pricing model

With their new “Fare Choices”, airberlin & NIKI changed their pricing model once again.

Here are some of the main changes:

• Changing price names
• Simplification of the model for short and long haul flights, by reducing them to three prices; abolishing the FlyDeal.
• All prices can be combined with each other: this makes it possible to book different prices on outbound and return flights.
• Modifying the free baggage allowance in Economy Flex price (previously FlyFlex) to the airline industry standard
• Modifications to top bonus services for extra free baggage, hand luggage, seat reservation and allocation of miles
