Air France Introduces Free High-Speed Wi-Fi
Air France will gradually equip all of its aircraft with a new internet service starting in the summer season of 2025. For the rollout of the new onboard Wi-Fi service, Air France has chosen Starlink, the market leader in connectivity. Air France will gradually implement this new technology in all aircraft, including its regional fleet, starting in the summer season of 2025. During the transition period, the airline will continue to offer a connectivity service on aircraft that are not yet equipped, including a free “Message Pass” for Flying Blue members and a paid option to meet other needs.
Passengers can access the service by logging into their Flying Blue account, the loyalty program of the Air France-KLM Group. Those without a Flying Blue account can create one onboard for free with just a few clicks. The service will be accessible from smartphones, digital tablets, and laptops, allowing each customer to connect multiple devices simultaneously.
