SWISS and SBB expand AirRail service from Geneva Airport
SWISS and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) are expanding their AirRail service. Newly added to the SWISS network are Vevey, Montreux, Sion, Sierre, Visp, and Brig. The trains will operate with a SWISS flight number and can be booked in the same way as a SWISS connecting flight. With this further expansion of the intermodal offering, the SWISS AirRail network now includes a total of 17 destinations. Currently served are Geneva Cornavin (main station), Fribourg, Bern, Interlaken, Lausanne, Lucerne, Lugano, Bellinzona, and Basel in Switzerland, as well as Munich in Germany and Bregenz in Austria.
