The Netherlands: Change in COVID test policy
As of 16 March 2021 the COVID test policy has changed. The following changes were announced by the Dutch government.
Transfer passengers who transfer in the Netherlands and continue travelling by aircraft only need to show a NAAT (PCR) test result issued within 72 hours before arrival in Amsterdam. An additional rapid test is no longer necessary for transfer passengers.
All passengers (aged 13 and up) from hig-risk countries must present either a negative NAAT (PCR) test of up to 24 hours old when boarding. This used to be 12 hours. Or they should present a negative rapid test result issued within 24 hours before boarding (this used to be 4 hours) and a negative NAAT (PCR) test result issued within 72 hours before arrival in Amsterdam.
