United Airlines now has full Dreamliner family
United Airlines has become the first carrier in north America to add a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner to its fleet.
The airline is also investing in taking the interior of the new Dreamliner to another level. The 787-10 is the first aircraft to feature the unique Polaris Business Class seats, all of which offer aisle access. Elsewhere, Premium Plus seats will provide additional comfort for travellers. United is the first airline worldwide with the entire Dreamliner family in its fleet.
Improved lighting that replicates the colours of a sunrise and sunset are another innovation. Designed to help passengers in each cabin fall asleep and wake up more easily, the system is aligned to the different time zones. The airline is already installing a brand new entertainment system in its seats which features a raft of innovative functionality.
On 30 March 2019 the 787-10 will make its maiden New York (Newark) – Frankfurt flight.
